Ok so i was in my car today listening to the radio, a song that came on sounded awesome so i took out my phone (nokia), searched a few of the lyrics online to get the song name and then openned spotify (also on my nokia) to search for the song and then added it to my playlist to keep.
But this is really long and most of the time i wouldnt bother and then end up forgetting about the song later
Well heres where my brilliant idea comes in!
What if spotify mobile had a feature where you can hold the phone upto the radio and then spotify would identify the song and then automatically find it in spotify where you can then add it to your playlist!
This is currently availible on some phones through a different app, the most popular is Shazam (as seen on iPhone ads), but these apps cost money and sometime limit the number of songs you can identify. Having this on spotify mobile for premium users would be great and it would increase the value of the premium membership because you wont need to buy an additional app if you can on your phone.
Id love to see this in an update,
i wont mind getting free premium if spotify does decide to implement this
