Welcome to the forum!
Its worth checking this thread (link below) it will hopefully help solve your problem!
Can you find the following file:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURWINDOWSUSERNAME\Application Data\Spotify\Users\YOURSPOTIFYUSERNAME-user\playlist.bnk
If you can post it up on here and we will see if we can recover it for you!
No promises though! As it may have been overwritten but it is certainly worth a try!
Yeah that should be the location of the file but I know that some users sruggle to find the file or do not have it at all! Just make sure you have show hidden files and folders enabled!
If you're seeing user-cache.bnk then you're probably looking in
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURWINDOWSUSERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Spotify\
You need to goto the Application Data folder in your user folder, not inside your Local Settings folder (Spotify uses both of these locations).
Are you looking on a different machine (or a backup) rather than the machine you lost the playlist on? As the file beachy is pointing you to is the playlists file, if you've already deleted the playlist on the machine you're looking at, then I don't believe the file can help. The key is to get it from a backup or other machine.
I accidently deleted my playlist too. I have the file "playlist.bnk" which contains the playlist. When I change this file with the other one and log on Spotify, I can see the old playlist for a second, it disappears and the size of the file changes.
Any ideas? :S
i would like to get my playlists back aswell... so u can get my playlist.bkn file through some uploading service... =)
there it is, now, please, try to help me with this problem of mine!!! <3333
