Ivy - automatic playlist generator

Postby co.dejong on Tue Feb 02, 2010 1:26 am

I've just launched a mashup between your playlists and Spotify, called Ivy.

It enables you to import your already existing playlists and convert them into Spotify playlists. Currently CSV, iTunes and free text input is supported, but many more will follow :)

Have a look at www.ivyishere.org and let me know if it worked out for you :)

Playlistify.org - Re: Ivy - automatic playlist generator

Postby roelandp on Sun Feb 07, 2010 5:59 pm

I've started a similar service a while ago, which I announced on the forums a few days ago.

My service is called 'Playlistify.org' and the difference with Ivy is that our service already supports: iTunes, Winamp, Copy Past text, Youtube, and Last.fm. Furthermore you automatically store your playlist online so others can enjoy your curation. Sharing is made easy with our own pli.st shorturl!

check it out!

I want to take this opportunity to announce the alphabeta - superearly - gamma launch of http://Playlistify.org

Amongst others: You can use http://playlistify.org to  convert your iTunes playlists to Spotify.

Playlistify enhances and simplifies your musical journey by making finding, sharing and baking playlists supereasy:

    1. Bake playlists for Spotify or online sharing and playing from iTunes, Winamp, Youtube, Last.fm with the Playlistify Converter.
    2. Discover and share great playlists via the Playlistify Directory. Playlistify-urls can be shared via http://pli.st url shortener.
Playlistify.org is the tool for converting playlists originating from sources such as Itunes, Winamp, Free text copy+paste, Youtube, Last.fm to Spotify and online playing.

Within a few weeks Playlistify.org will release an API and besides that every playlist is stored over at our Playlistify Directory at http://dir.playlistify.org. Users can share their playlist through the shorturl http://pli.st and you can discover new playlists as well. The 'stumble' options will be expanded more and more in the near feature. Furthermore you can play your playlist directly from the share page through Youtube videos or open the playlist in Spotify.
